These terms and conditions apply between you, the user/buyer, and Beautiful Nice, the owner of this website. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the website. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the website immediately. No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer and our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon us either sending an imprint kit to you, or a dispatch email to you indicating that your order has been fulfilled and is on its way.

Materials

We use a wide variety of materials to create our products; these materials range from 99.9% fine silver, sterling silver, plastic, leather, acrylic laminates, glass, stone, metal, paper, solid oak, Bamboo and other woods. Although we make every effort to illustrate and describe the product accurately, we cannot be held responsible for the natural look or minor imperfections of such products which will all vary from piece to piece.

Engraving

All Fine Silver jewellery is hand engraved. Wooden products are laser engraved, the buyer must understand that each piece of wood is different and that variances of the product are uncontrollable. Finished engraved wooden products will therefore vary from piece to piece (engraving will naturally darken with age).

Lead times

Please allow up to 21 days for us to dispatch your order upon receipt of either returned prints for imprint jewellery or order confirmation for other products.

Please remember to take into account any bank holidays and closure periods when calculating your lead time.

We aim to provide a high-quality service, all customer orders we receive are produced on a first come first serve basis, subject to stock availability.

Returning your prints

Please return prints within three months of placing your order. Customers returning prints outside of this timeframe may be subject to a charge should prices have risen. Prints may be returned by post or scanned and e-mailed, they must be in JPEG format.

Intellectual property

Subject to the below, all content included on this website, including, but not limited to, our jewellery and product designs, text, graphics, logos, icons and images are the property of Beautiful Nice or relevant third parties. Any infringement will be pursued vigorously. By continuing to use our website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from our website unless given express written permission to do so by Beautiful Nice. Material from our website may be re-used without written permission where any of the exceptions detailed in Chapter III of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply.

Credit/debit card payments

Buyers have the option of using either PayPal or our secure checkout provided by Create Payments. You can pay by credit or debit card, you will be asked for your card details and billing address. This information is held exclusively by Create Payments, Beautiful Nice have no access to your card details, but they do have access to your billing address and payment history in order to assist with customer service enquiries. Under no circumstances are these details disclosed to any third parties.

Cancellation

For imprint jewellery orders you may cancel your order at any point prior to the despatch of your imprint kit and a full refund will be given. If the print kit has been despatched, then there will be a charge of £6 to cover the cost of each kit. For all other product orders and imprint orders where prints have been returned unfortunately once work has commenced on your order it will not be possible to cancel as it is personalised and unique to the buyer.

Goods, pricing & availability

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all representations and descriptions of goods available from Beautiful Nice correspond to the actual goods, Beautiful Nice is not responsible for any variations from these descriptions. All items are hand made to order, any irregularities are an inevitable result of a hand-made process. All pricing information on the website is correct at the time of going online. Beautiful Nice reserves the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary.

Delivery

All goods are dispatched via Royal Mail. If Beautiful Nice receives no communication from you, within 7 days of delivery, regarding any problems with the goods, you are deemed to have received the goods in full working order and with no problems. For international orders please note you will also be responsible for any custom duties or charges that may arise.

Refunds & returns

We personally put a great deal of care and attention into each and every item we handcraft and hope you will be delighted with your order, but should a problem occur please contact us as we will do our best to help resolve it. If your order is personalised it is not returnable unless it differs substantially to what was ordered, or is delivered faulty or damaged.

Please check your order carefully when you receive it, in the unlikely event it is faulty or damaged upon delivery then please contact us within 7 days of receipt so we can rectify this. If the item supplied differs to what has been ordered, then we will rectify this as quickly as possible at our expense. Beautiful Nice will not be liable if you have made an error on your order once it has been produced and delivered.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a product from our generic stock range (i.e. excluding personalised products) purchased from Beautiful Nice, under the distance selling regulations you may cancel your order for a full refund up to 7 days after receipt of the Goods.

You must inform Beautiful Nice of their decision to cancel/return the order by either post or email.

Goods must be returned to Beautiful Nice in the same condition that they were sent at your expense within 7 days of receipt.

You will be responsible for any goods that have been damaged in transit when being returned so must ensure that the goods are well packaged to avoid this.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please check your personalisation details carefully. Engraving will be carried out exactly as it appears on your order summary.

Check you are happy with the capitalisation and spelling of your text as it appears on your order summary (sent with your kit & by e-mail).

Dates are always written in numerical format (DD.MM.YY) on small charms the year will be written YY.

For imprint orders please ensure you are happy with your prints before returning, we are unable to accept returns because you are unhappy with the print. Additional kits can be ordered for a small charge if needed.

We cannot amend fingerprints in any way, what you see in the mould is what you will see in silver. We will remove obvious smudges, or extra sets of toes etc. from hand and footprints, but will not amend the shape of the overall print in any way unless you ask us to. Each fingerprint is unique and fingerprints will differ in size, shape and detail from person to person.

We recommend a minimum age of 12 months for fingerprint jewellery, this is because fingerprints are not usually defined enough to show acceptably in silver before this age. A good way to test the readiness of a fingerprint is to press your little one's finger (usually their thumb) into some blu-tac as this represents the effect of a fingerprint in silver.

Fingerprints will appear slightly smaller in the silver than in the moulds due to the shrinkage of silver clay during firing - this is unavoidable and applies to all fingerprint jewellery regardless of who makes it.

We do our utmost to ensure consistency but as each item is handmade and unique there will be a slight degree of variance from piece to piece.
